Todd Andrew Dorsett was born in Waynesboro and received his medical degree from the University of Maryland in 1995. Reckless driving is a crime in Virginia, but it has made the city of Wayneboro a lifelong learning community. He graduated from the University of Baltimore in 1995 and completed his residency training at the University of Maryland Hospital in 1999. He graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1999 and completed his residency and training at the U.S. Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. in 2000.
He studied law and returned to Lynchburg, Virginia, where he became a partner in the law firm of Robert E. Lee Jr., an early lawyer and one of the first to be admitted to Virginia in 1840.
Dr. Solberg earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from UCLA and graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1990. He is also a member of the West Virginia Medical School Board of Trustees and the University of Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine Board. In 2018, he completed his residency at WVU Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia, and is currently flying back to Los Angeles, California, to conduct research on the history of osteoarthritis in the United States and Europe. He received medical education at West Va., West Virginia's School for Osteopathy and Medicine.
During his training as a veterinarian, he worked with horses in South Africa, got to know dairy cattle in New Zealand and saw the practice in most of the UK and Ireland.
