We are pleased to announce that Frogtown Music is sponsoring a special event in aid of the Frederick County Educational Foundation. The First Baptist Church of Lexington is pleased to invite you to its annual Christmas party, which will take place this Sunday at 4: 30 p.m. The event will include live music, food trucks, a silent auction and a raffle with prizes.

Blue Grass Jam will take place on Saturday, December 2, at the Frederick County Convention Center in Frederick, Maryland. There will have been two sessions and if your preferred session is sold out, you may look for other sessions in the future. A limited number of tickets for this special event ($10 per person, $20 for a family of four) are still available on the day of the event. If you miss this date, your ticket will not be valid for the next two days (3 and 4 December) and you will be given instructions on which day you need to rebook.

Visit the Sky Meadows State Park Visitor Center and pick up your book and start your journey or call the church for more information. On Saturday, December 2, there will be a Skid Steer Rodeo from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bebe was the first stop for the contestants to watch the rodeos on the sled at Sky Meadow Farm in Waynesboro, West Virginia.

This self-guided program is a great opportunity to get even more out of your hike and do even more by exploring paths you've never been on before. Take the easy Bluebell Overlook Trail or try the Bear Bottom Loop on Allen Mountain. This will be a self-guided tour, but not only an easy hike, but also a fun and entertaining adventure for the whole family.

Spend Saturday walking around the camp, listening to lectures, participating in the city ball, and watching exercises and skill competitions. The program "Give a Gift Summer Camp" helps children with special needs and at-risk youth to come to the camp LIGHT.

Experience a bit of Civil War life at the site of the Battle of Appomattox, the courthouse of Confederate General Robert E. Lee and his Confederate Army. During the weekend of the war and civil war, you will visit the interpretation site installed near this battle.

Visit the George C. Marshall Museum for a story about how a paralyzed World War II veteran invented wheelchair sports, fought for disability rights, and inspired the nation. Dreaming and continuing to fight to make it a reality, we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of National Wheelchair Sports Day on Saturday, June 25.

The Civil War Weekend will be on-site at the George C. Marshall Museum on Saturday, June 25, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Vehicles are not allowed to enter the warehouse after 4 p.m. and must be in the warehouse area by 8: 45 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2017, or leave the warehouse area by 4: 30 p.m.

All participants in the Civil War weekend are expected to read, understand and adhere to the other guidelines common to all reenactors. If the fire is set, there will be a distance from the event and possible fines for non-compliance with these rules.
